The 5 Best TikTok Shop Alternatives for Live Selling (2026)

Searching for a TikTok Shop alternative? Compare top multi-platform tools. See why Stremify offers a smarter, more flexible way to stream and sell everywhere.

TikTok Shop has become one of the biggest live selling channels in the US: its US sales reached $15.1 billion in 2025, up 68% on the year, and the share coming from LIVE rose from 10% to 14%, according to Momentum Works.1 Selling there also means depending on one company's algorithm, rules and fees, which is why many sellers want a second channel, or a way to sell live on platforms they control.

Here are five alternatives, from marketplaces with their own buyers to software that runs on your own channels. We make Stremify, so it's on the list. Pricing was checked on each vendor's site in September 2026.

1. Stremify: sell live on Instagram and Facebook instead

If your TikTok buyers also follow you on Instagram or Facebook, Stremify lets you sell live there without a commission on each order. Connect a Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento store (or a product feed URL), pick a theme, and Stremify renders a branded shoppable live stream in the cloud, with prices, discounts and countdowns on screen. You don't need a camera or streaming software.

During an Instagram Live or Facebook Live, viewers comment a keyword and receive the product and a checkout link by DM or Messenger, and you can run live quizzes and polls from the same comments. Checkout happens in your own store, so the customer data is yours. YouTube and Twitch broadcasts show the same overlay, but comment-based buying works on the two Meta platforms only.

Pricing is prepaid, with one credit per minute of streaming: €15 for 50 credits up to €120 for 500, and 50 free credits for new accounts. There's no subscription and no per-sale fee. Each broadcast goes to one platform at a time.

2. CommentSold: keep TikTok, add everything else

CommentSold is the option for sellers who don't want to leave TikTok but want to stop depending on it. It streams to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, your own website and your own branded app at the same time, and buyers comment "sold" to get an automatic invoice. Waitlists, pre-authorised checkout and fulfillment tools are built in.

It's the most expensive option here: plans start at $149 a month plus 6% of sales, falling to 4% on the $999 plan.2 Worth it for sellers who go live several times a week; heavy for occasional shows. We cover cheaper options in our list of CommentSold alternatives.

3. Whatnot: a different marketplace with its own buyers

If what you like about TikTok Shop is the built-in audience, Whatnot is the closest match: a live marketplace where people browse shows and buy, mostly through auctions. It's strongest in trading cards, collectibles, sneakers and resale. US sellers pay an 8% commission in most categories (5% for electronics) plus 2.9% + $0.30 processing per order. Whatnot raised $545 million at a $20 billion valuation in August 2026.3 Like TikTok Shop, though, the customers belong to the platform.

4. Bambuser: live shopping on your own website

Bambuser moves live selling onto the channel nobody can change the rules of: your own website. Its player embeds shoppable live shows and videos in your store, and shows can be multistreamed to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It also offers 1-to-1 video consultations. There's a free plan capped at 250 views a month, then paid plans from $79 a month billed yearly, with $0.25 per view above your plan.4

5. Restream: reach every platform at once

Restream sends one broadcast to more than 30 platforms, TikTok included, and gathers every chat into one view. Its Live Sales feature shows products as on-screen cards with QR codes that link to your store. There's no checkout inside the stream, so it works best alongside a store that converts well on mobile. Plans run from free to $239 a month.5

When TikTok Shop is still the right call

TikTok Shop's in-app checkout is hard to beat for impulse buys: viewers buy a pinned product without leaving the LIVE. At a referral fee of about 6% per order,6 it's also cheaper per sale than most marketplaces. For many sellers the answer isn't to leave TikTok Shop but to stop relying on it alone: keep it for TikTok's audience, and run a second channel where you own the customer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to TikTok Shop for live selling?

It depends on what you want to replace. For another marketplace with built-in buyers, Whatnot is the closest match. To sell live on Instagram and Facebook with comment-to-buy and no commission, Stremify is built for that. To keep TikTok and add other channels, CommentSold streams to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and your own app.

How much does TikTok Shop charge sellers?

In the US, TikTok Shop charges a referral fee of about 6% per order, or 5% in some categories. Check TikTok Seller Center for the current rate in your category.

Can I use Stremify with my Shopify or WooCommerce store?

Yes. Stremify connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, or imports a product feed URL, and checkout happens in your own store.

Can I sell live on several platforms at the same time?

Yes, with a multistreaming tool: Restream sends one broadcast to 30+ platforms, and CommentSold streams to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and your own app at once. A Stremify broadcast goes to one platform at a time.

Should I leave TikTok Shop?

Usually not. TikTok Shop's in-app checkout converts well for impulse buys. The safer strategy is to keep it for TikTok's audience and add a channel where you own the customer, such as your own site or Instagram and Facebook Live.
